The idea of Hunting-bow.com came to mind when we (Marc and Patrick, two childhood friends) had a discussion about our plans for the future. We asked ourselves what we really wanted in life. We felt like we needed to go back to our roots by escaping the chaos of the city.
Over-consumption and especially waste are real and probably some of the biggest environmental problems. It made us realized that we wanted to go back to a more sustainable living.
We think it is important that we don't use all the resources we have left in order to prevent environmental damage for future generations.
We thought about ways we could find to reduce our consumption and avoid too much waste. Aside from introducing growing gardens and powering houses with solar energy in our lives, hunting came to mind as a way of getting out of the unhealthy meat industry while gathering and consuming, more wisely, the resources given by nature itself. This way we could really know what's in the food we are putting on the table.
We were intrigued by the process and didn't know a lot about it, but after spending countless hours on the field, we developed a passion, not only for hunting but for archery as a sport too. It was clear for us that going back to bow hunting was part of the solution to reduce our ecological footprint on the planet further. We now define ourselves as modern hunters and gatherers because we love meat too much to go vegan yet! :)
As the love for the sport grew, the next step for us was to have our own archery & bowhunting store and what we sell is what we would like to receive as customers, nothing but the best on the market.
